How to Adopt a Puppy

Step 1:

Our application is an easy way for you to let us know what you are looking for in your puppy and helps us get to know you better.

Step 2:

Place Your Deposit

Once you submit your application, you may submit your $400 deposit. If you prefer to speak to us first, you may call us, or we will contact you by phone within 48 hours. Please remember that your spot on the waiting list, selection list, or for a specific puppy is not reserved until we receive your deposit.  We accept Venmo (@Kara-Quilter), Zelle (678-472-4020 or 321-499-0674), or credit card via Good Dog (please contact us for payment link).

*Please note that your deposit is not refundable but can be transferred to a future litter.

 

Step 3:

Get Puppy Updates

Once your deposit is received, you will be added to the waiting list of your choice.  You can find updates on breedings/litters on the AVAILABLE PUPPIES page. We will also post updates via Instagram @spacecoastdoodleco and Facebook @spacecoastdoodleco . Families/Individuals with paid deposits will also receive a final “packet” of information on each puppy, including temperament evaluations, just prior to puppy pick day. We are also happy to schedule FaceTime/Video Calls with our waitlist families at intervals throughout this process so that you can watch the puppies grow. Please let us know if you would like to schedule a call.

 

Step 4:

Pick Your Puppy

Puppy selection will take place when the puppies are 6 weeks old. We know is hard to wait that long, but we’ve found that their little personalities and coats are much better developed by then and we can give you much better suggestions on the best fit for your home and family. Puppy picks will be done in the order that deposits were received. First deposit received will get first pick, second deposit received will get second pick, and so on…

Puppy selections will be scheduled by appointment on the designated day and can be done via FaceTime/Video call, text or phone call, whatever works best for each family.

 

Step 5:

Pay Remaining Balances and Bring Your Puppy Home!

It’s finally time to start enjoying those sweet puppy snuggles whenever you want! We will schedule your go home date and arrange any travel details if needed once puppy selection is complete. Any applicable travel and delivery fee balances are due at time of travel booking. Final puppy balances are due at delivery/go home. Puppies traveling by flight nanny must have final balances paid in full 24hrs prior to travel. We accept cash, Venmo, Zelle or credit card.

 

If you would like to join our waitlist for a current or future litter, or are reserving a specific available puppy, please fill out the application below.

 Keep in mind that your spot on our waitlist (or specific puppy, if applicable) will not be reserved until we have received your $400 non-refundable deposit. You are welcome to send your deposit ($400) at the same time you send your application via Venmo (@Kara-Quilter) or Zelle (678-472-4020 OR 321-499-0674) , OR you can wait until we have had a chance to speak. We recommend that you place your deposit as soon as we get in touch to ensure your spot on the list (or reserve your specific puppy).
