We believe that every dog deserves a loving forever family. We are not a kennel breeder and believe dogs do best in loving family homes. This program allows us to grow our program and continue to better our breeds without sacrificing any of our dog’s happiness and need for love and attention. While our heart’s desire is to keep every one of our dogs with us, we understand it’s not realistically possible and that they will be happier with more one on one attention than we can feasibly give.
As a guardian home, you are the permanent home for one of our breeding dogs while they are in our program. Once they are retired (and spayed/neutered at our expense), full ownership transfers to the guardian family and you get to keep the dog forever.
Becoming a Guardian Home gives you the opportunity to have one of our puppies or young adults as a family pet, at no up front cost to you, while he or she remains in our program.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must live within 2 hours of Melbourne, FL and able to transport dog to and from our home or vet when needed.
- Own your home or have a pet agreement with landlord, fenced yard preferred.
- Pup must be indoor dog.
- No intact dogs will reside on premises.
- Responsible for and keep up with regular grooming and veterinary appointments.
- Must be willing to train puppy and provide adequate physical and mental exercise.
- May not be a guardian home for another program.
- Must be willing and able to maintain an open line of communication with us regarding any matter related to puppy and send regular updates, photos and videos.
- Most importantly, provide a loving home where puppy is a part of the family with all the love, care and attention possible.
